Meet the Crew

Hi! I'm a published cultural historian and writer from South Florida, USA. I have my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in World History, focusing on British Empire, South Asia, and globalization. After teaching at the university level for a few years, I missed traveling and being in the field and I couldn't stand being tied down to one location or job.  I love fashion, food, film, collecting art, and being a momma to my two boys.  Oh, and I drink a lot of wine.  Currently, I'm running a few blogs and working on my first novel. For the past 8 years, I have also managed my husband's art business, Todd Andrew Babb Sculpture. Todd and I met when I was 19 years old and bonded over our love of art, culture, philosophy, and food.  Together we've built a business, traveled to 18 countries, and have had two children in whom we wish to foster a love of travel, adventure, art, culture, history, learning, and respect for all people.

Todd is an internationally known artist with work among public and private collections on five different continents.  He was born in Pennsylvania, USA and served in the United States Air Force before becoming a full time artist focusing on painting and sculpture.  He plays the guitar, piano, and ukulele, and even sang in a hard rock band for a few years!  He's a thinker and lifelong scholar of religion and philosophy.

Sir is our 8 year old son and a force to be reckoned with.  He is energetic and compassionate to all forms of life.  He loves animals, playing the piano, reading, and exploring.  He's been traveling domestically since he was 2 months old and went international at 5 years old.  He even started a blog!  Check out Brothers Around the World!

O is our sweet baby boy who joined us in the world November of 2015.  He's a calm, inquisitive, baby who hasn't slowed us down one bit.  He is a happy little guy who started traveling before he was even born and already shows a love of meeting new people and experiencing new things.
